AW29: Kind Koala Surprise Diorama Card + PDF Tutorial

http://aroundtheworldstampinchallenges.blogspot.ca/2014/11/aw29-colors-couleurs-colores.htmlIt's time for another Around the World Challenge! Our Design Team is made up of one talented demonstrator from each country/market where Stampin' Up! operates. I love seeing how stampers Around the World interpret each new challenge. I hope you'll play along with us! Click here to see all the details of the newest challenge.

This month, we're doing color challenges. Here is design for AW29. The colors for this challenge are Real Red, Hello Honey, and Crumb Cake. I struggled a little bit at first getting the right ratio of colors, but I think I finally got it right with this Kind Koala card.

I used the Crumb Cake Blendabilities. It seems a little dark for Crumb Cake, but it works well with the Real Red and Hello Honey Designer Paper.

When I went to pull out Real Red cardstock for the card base, I found the pre-scored piece for a surprise diorama card. This card is super easy. I love the WOW factor of opening the flat card and having it turn into a diorama.
