Stampin' Up! Butterfly Kisses Peek-a-Boo Flip Card + Project Playback Tutorial

I have been having so much fun with my Project Playback video series! Each week, I am resharing an older video tutorial and remaking the same card design or technique using new products. Last month I featured the Peek-a-boo Flip Card and remade it using the Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

The cool thing about this card is the movement! When you open the card, the image in the window changes. The photos don't do it justice! Check out the video tutorial below to see how this card moves and learn how to make it at home.

I fussy cut the butterfly on the front and the ones for the inside of the card from the Butterfly Kisses designer paper.

Peek-a-Boo Flip Card Measurements:

• 4 ¼” x 8 ¼” Starry Sky cardstock, scored at 5 ½”
• 4 ¼” x 5 ¾” Stary Sky cardstock, scored at 5 ½”
• 8 ½” x 4 ¼” Basic White cardstock, scored at 4 ¼”
• 2½” x 2 ½” Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper (white with floral)
• 1 ¾” x 4 ¼” Butterfly Kisses Designer Paper (Fresh Freesia)
• ½” x 4 ¼” Calypso Coral Cardstock
• ¾” x 4" Basic White Cardstock
• ½” x 3" Parakeet Party Cardstock

VIDEO: Peek-a-Boo Flip Card Tutorial with Paisleys & Posies

I have been having so much fun with the Peek-a-boo Flip cards! I was inspired by several cards, including one by Gillian Whitcombe but all of the instructions I found were in centimeters or were different sizes, so I kind of figured out the measurements for my card on my own! You won't need to hunt down the measurements for this one because I've created a video tutorial to show you how to make it!

And once you start making Peek-a-Boo flip cards, you won't be able to stop! (See my Halloween Peek-a-boo Flip Card and my Christmas Peek-a-boo Flip Card.)

Around the World Blog Hop: Holiday Catalog Projects

Welcome to the Around the World Stampin' Up! Blog Hop. I'm so excited to partner with my friends all over the world to share inspiring projects with you. If you followed our Around the World Stampin' Challenges that we did last year and the year before, you know how incredibly talented these demonstrators are! This month we are focusing on holiday projects featuring products from the Holiday Catalog. I am hooked on these Peek-a-boo Flip Cards and made another one using the Stitched with Cheer stamp set. This set was designed to coordinate with the Stitched with Cheer Card Kit, but you can definitely use these fun images on their own.

 It's hard to capture the movement in this card in photos. When you open the front, a panel slides open into the window to replace the color/image that was there when the card was closed.

World Card-Making Day Stampin' Up! Blog Hop: Spooky Fun Halloween Peek-a-boo Flip Card

Welcome to our World Card Making Day Blog Hop.
