Delightful Dozen Core'dinations Christmas Card

Linda Heller's card was one of my favorite swaps that I received at Founder's Circle this year. I knew as soon as I saw it that I would be CASE'ing it. I love everything about it -- the layout, the use of products, and specifically -- that Old Olive Simply Styled embellishment. I hadn't seen any projects using that new product that I liked until I saw Linda's card.

 

I copied almost everything about her card. I changed the stamp because I didn't have the same one. (I used one from the Delightful Dozen stamp set) and I used Core'dinations cardstock instead of regular cardstock for the background. I think it adds a nice dimension of texture to the card. Clean and Simple Sunflower Window Card

When I got "stuck" making the card I posted yesterday (see it here) for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, I whipped up this one. I was feeling challenged by the large flowers on yesterday's card, so I made small sunflowers for this one. I used the Boho Flower Punch and the 1/2" Circle Punch for the centers.

I love the way this card turned out. I think it looks better in person. I used the Deco Labels Collections Framelits to cut the window in a piece of textured Whisper White cardstock, but I think the left side of the window is a bit washed out in the full card photo and it loses the effect.

More Amore Valentine Ticket Card

I signed up to use the new That's the Ticket stamp set for our group swap and when I sat down to design with it, I felt a bit stumped. Sometimes it's hard to use smaller images that are contained in a specific shape, like the ones in this stamp set. I played around with bits of the new More Amore designer paper and finally ended up with this design. I just love the way it turned out! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

I used the 1" Square Punch to cut the designer paper and then cut each one in half and tucked them behind the cardstock. They are meant to look uneven and varied.

Classic Christmas: Clean & Simple Card

This card is classicly Christmas. (Is that even a word?) It's clean and simple and oozes Christmas with the Cherry Cobbler accent and Champagne Glimmer paper. I love it because it's gorgeous, but easy. You could do a whole stack of these in no time at all!

 

I used the Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations Cardstock for the background. This cardtock has a lighter core and adds a distressed look to your card when you emboss and sand it. Watch this video to see it in action:

Wonderfall Baby Wipe Card

 I made this card when I was working on my Stamp of the Month Club series. I was experimenting with the Baby Wipe technique, but ultimately decided I liked these stamps with more bold, solid colors.

If you haven't tried the Baby Wipe technique before, it's easy! Just fold a baby wipe into quarters. Add drops of reinkers in multiple colors and then use the baby wipe as an ink pad and stamp your image.

 

I used the Core'dinations Cardstock as a layer piece on this card. I did not emboss it, but simply sanded the surface to give it some texture. Here's a close-up:

Ornament Keepsakes Founder's Circle Swap Card

Part of the Founder's Circle Retreat experience is swapping with all of the other top demonstrators. Talk about intimidating!! With help from some friends back home (big thanks to Amy!!), I made 120 of this card to swap! The theme this year was 2 layers or less and it was a big controversy as to what counted as a "layer". I think the idea was to share good workshop make and takes and I think this one fits the bill!

 

I CASEd the layout for this card from this card by Amanda Corbet.

Stamp of the Month Club: Owl Occasions Thank You Card

Eek!! I finished designing the cards for the August Stamp of the Month Club and I LOVE them all so much!! I hope are as excited about them too!
