Tags 4 You Notecard Envelope Pouch

Welcome WCIA viewers!! I had the pleasure to appearing on ciLiving again this afternoon. I showed Matt and Heather a few tricks to create Halloween treats using an envelope!
Click here to see the video of my segment on TV on the ciLiving website. Here are some quick directions to make this easy treat:
  1. Seal the Envelope.
  2. Cut the end off. (I used the Small Scallop Rotary Blade on my Stampin' Trimmer.)
  3. Add strips of Washi Tape to the front.
  4. Stamp and punch tag. Adhere to front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Add some fun filler: super skinny paper strips crumbled up.
The stamp set I used, Tags 4 You, includes sentiments for other occasions. I switched out the washi tape and colors and came up with these alternatives:
A packet of cocoa is a perfect fit for this envelope pouch!
Stampin' Up! Supplies: Tags 4 You Stamp Set, Tangerine Tango ink pad, Whisper White cardstock, Crumb Cake Notecard Envelopes, Withes' Brew Designer Washi Tape, Label Bracket Punch, Rotary Addition to Stampin' Trimmer, Small Scallops Rotary Blade

I'll be sharing more Halloween treat packaging this week, so be sure to visit again and check them out!

VIDEO: Half Sheet Treat Box Tutorial

I created a winter version of the Half Sheet Treat Box that I posted earlier this week. (See it here.) There's no need for a special die, this box is made with just a half sheet of cardstock and all you need is your Stampin' Trimmer or Simply Scored Tool to make a few score lines. Don't worry! I have a template and a video tutorial for you to refer to!

Grab a half sheet of cardstock and your Paper Trimmer or Simply Scored Tool and watch my video tutorial to learn how to make this box:
TIP: Use the Heat Tool to dry and set the silver ink to avoid smudges.

AWO3: Gently Falling Treat Box

It's time for another Around the World Challenge! New challenges are posted on the 1st and 15th of each month. The theme for our third challenge is Fall (or Spring if you're on the other side of the world!) Instead of card, I decided to create a 3-D project. I hope you'll join us and participate in the challenge by creating and sharing your seasonal-inspired project! Click here for more inspiration from our creative team.

Here is my Gently Falling Treat box. Click here to see a video tutorial and learn how to make this box from a half sheet of cardstock.

FTL256 Clean & Simple Hello Card

In anticipation of the new challenge site, I returned to one of my old favorites: Clean & Simple Stamping to find a sketch for today's card.
I just got the new Tape It stamp set, which mimics the look of washi tape. It's so easy and fun to use and I love that it's not supposed to be straight! This card is 3-1/2" x 5-1/2". I like to make cards this size, but we don't have envelopes that size. I usually use the regular Medium envelopes, but with the Envelope Punch Board, now I can make a coordinating envelope to fit this card perfectly!

The Envelope Punch Board is so easy that is literally took me just a minute to make this envelope! Learn more about this amazing new tool here.

I used another new tool on this card! The new Rotary Trimmer Attachment for the Stampin' Trimmer with the Small Scallop Rotary Cutting Blade. You can see the decorative edge better in this close-up picture of the card:
Check out this video from Stampin' Up! to learn more about new Rotary Trimmer Attachment:
