Around the World Blog Tour: Watercolor Rose Garden

Welcome to the Around the World Stampin' Up! Blog Hop. I'm so excited to partner with my friends all over the world to share samples from the upcoming Occasions Catalog. The Rose Wonder bundle was at the top of my list. It includes the Rose Wonder stamp set and the Rose Garden thinlits. For this card, I die cut from the thinlits and used it as a template to watercolor the rose on to Shimmery White cardstock.

 

I love the way it turned out! I added some gold splatter with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. And then I layered the greeting with several punches and tied in the gold foil cardstock and ribbons.

Pocket Sketch Challenge: Celebrate Today Balloon Birthday Card

I am on the Hospitality Committee at the girls' elementary school. One of the ways that I contribute is by donating birthday cards so all of the teachers and staff receive a card and treat the month of their birthday. Here's a card I created for the birthday card stash. I haven't purchased any of the new balloon stamp sets yet, so I pulled out this one from the Annual Catalog. Sneak Peek Week: Five Birthday Blooms Projects

Happy New Year! I'm thinking about all of the fun times and memories made in 2015. One of my favorite trips was the Founder's Circle retreat back in September. It was the last one ever and one of the best! See Photos. Here are a few more projects that were on display at the retreat using the #140658 Birthday Blooms stamp set and #140557 Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper, which we received as a pillow gift.
