Framelit Treat Holder

We made this project in Stamp Club this month. It's a treat holder; there's a bag of candy in the middle. It's hard to tell in the photo, but we used the ink pad lids and a Blender Pen to watercolor the flowers and leaves and then added some Smooch Iridescent Ink over it.

It's easy to make and I'll tell you how, but if you want a video tutorial, leave me a comment and I'll add it to my "to do" list!

Shelli Gardner demonstrated this project on stage at Leadership Conference. Start with two pieces of cardstock cut with the Labels Collections Framelits. (I used the second largest size.) Cut about 1" off the round end off of both pieces. (I cut it at one of the "bumps" in the framelit.) Then score 1" from the cut side. Add sticky strip to the flap of one of the pieces and adhere the two pieces together by matching up the 1" flaps. Bring the tops together and punch a hole for ribbon. Embellish as desired.
