I was thrilled to go back on ciLiving this afternoon to share some seasonal projects with WCIA viewers. Click here to view the video on the ciLiving website.
I created a set of projects to decorate your Thanksgiving table -- all using one package of the Color Me Autumn Designer Paper and Autumn Accents Big Shot die. Since there are twelve 12" x 12" sheets of paper, you can create multiples of each project. Here are some close-up pictures and project details.
Favor Box: Start with a 6" x 8-1/2" piece of designer paper.
- Using the Scoring Blade on your Paper Cutter, score the cardstock at 2”, 4”, 6”, and 8”.
- Turn the cardstock lengthwise and score once more at 2".
- Cut the score lines on the shorter end up to the 2" score line you made in step 1. These flaps will become the bottom of your container. (You can completely cut off the small flap on the end.)
- Put SNAIL adhesive or Sticky Strip on the side flap and 3 of the 4 bottom flaps and assemble the box.
Candle Wrap: The size of the Designer Paper will depend on the candle that you use. I started with 4" x 12" designer paper and wrapped it around the candle. I use the burlap ribbon to hold the paper in place. WARNING: Remove paper decorations before burning the candle.
