VIDEO & PDF: Quarter Fold Card Tutorial

It's challenging to design make and takes for demonstrators! I always feel the pressure even more when I design projects for Spring Into Stamping because attendance is quadruple that of a normal monthly meeting. Here is one of the make and takes from last Saturday's event.

Essentially, you need two half sheets of cardstock to make this card. One will be 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and the other will be 4-1/4" x 11".  Watch my video tutorial or download the printable tutorial to learn how to make this fun fold card.

Birthday Basics Flower Card

I survived Spring into Stamping! AND I've turned the corner with this cold and I'm starting to feel better! The event was a smashing success! I'll upload pictures and post some highlights later, but I wanted to quickly share one of the make and takes I designed for attendees to make. They made four cards and this was by far the easiest one. It's kind of clean and simple quick card. You might not guess it, but the flowery designer series paper is actually from the Birthday Basics pack!

VIDEO: Reverse Spotlighting Card Tutorial

Here is the last of the three cards from my January Stamp of the Month Club series featuring the Another Great Year stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2014 Occasions Catalog. I love the way this card pops with the white embossing on the dark cardstock.

I used the Starburst Framelits to create the recessed windows on this card. The starbursts are a great alternative shapes, especially for masculine cards. I'm sure you'll find these framelits a new must-have, even without the coordinating stamp set.

VIDEO: Bloomin' Marvelous Seed Pocket Treat Pouch

Yesterday, I turned a card from the Sale-a-bration Happy Hello Simply Sent Card Kit into a box. (See it here.) For my next trick (wink!), I'm going to turn the coordinating envelope into a treat holder!

I made my pocket spring-themed and put a packet of seeds inside. However, you could use this treat pocket for any occasion -- birthday, Valentine's Day, Christmas. You could even use it as a Gift Card Holder!

Lacy & Lovely Fun Fold Card Video Tutorial

Without further adieu, here is the final card for my Stamp of the Month Club for June. The featured stamp set was Lacy and Lovely and I created this fun fold card in brand new In Color inks.

This is such a fun template! And so easy, once you figure out the measurements and cutting and scoring. I've done that hard part for you, so check out my video and learn how to make this fun card!
