Simply Snowflake Paper Pumpkin Cards + GIVEAWAY

This month's kit included a darling photopolymer stamp set, Lost Lagoon ink spot, washi tape, rhinestones, twine, die cut tags, cards & envelopes, and snowflakes to create 8 cards and 12 two-layer tags! WOW!!

Here are a few cards I created with the Simply Snowflake Paper Pumpkin Kit. I added some extra Lost Lagoon and Whisper White cardstock for the card bases, but everything else came from the kit!

I used the negative piece from the die cut silver snowflakes to create the border on the last card.

VIDEO Tiny Treat Box Countdown Calendar

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a fabulous day! I stayed in my jammies all day, cooking, baking, and creating! My daughters helped me finish making our Advent Calendar.

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Tiny Treat Boxes, Whisper White cardstock, Cherry Cobbler carsdtock, Garden Green cardstock, Early Espresso cardstock, Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle Punches, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals
I was inspired by the Countdown Calendar in the Holiday Catalog on page 12, but instead of stamping the numbers, I printed them. Here's how we made the calendar:

Download and print the numbers on Whisper White cardstock.
Punch the numbers using a 1-1/4" Circle Punch.
Punch Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Early Espresso cardstock with a 1-3/8" Circle Punch. Layer the numbers on to the colored circles.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to put the numbers on to 1-3/8" Scallop Circles punched from the Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack.
Add candy or gifts to the Tiny Treat Boxes and close them up. Arrange the boxes in a pyramid shape with the TOP of the box in front.
To help the boxes stay together, we used a line of Sticky Strip across each row.

The girls were so excited when I told them they could help me film the video tips! I hope you enjoy watching my little helpers! As I have mentioned before, Claire is counting down the years until she can sign up as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator herself! You can tell from the video that she's ready to do it now if she could!

Festival of Trees Surprise Pop-Up Diorama Card + GIVEAWAY

Have you tried the Surprise Pop-Up Diorama card yet? It's so easy to make! I designed this red and green version of the Festival of Trees card (see original here) with my Stamp Club this week.

Stampin' Up! Supplies: Festival of Trees stamp set, Petite Pairs stamp set, Garden Green ink & cardstock, Real Red ink, Whisper White cardstock, Nordic Noel Designer Paper, Red Glimmer Paper, 2" Circle Punch, Tree Punch, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Real Red Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Stampin' Trimmer

How to Make the Surprise Pop-Up Diorama Card:

Cut cardstock to 5-1/2" x 10-1/2".
Score at 3-1/2", 6-1/2", 7", and 10".
Add Sticky Strip to the 1/2" tab on the end.
Punch a 2" Circle window in the 3" panel next to the 1/2" tab.
Peel off the Sticky Strip liner and fold the card front flat to glue the tab inside the card front

Tips for All is Calm Ornaments + Weekly Deals & GIVEAWAY

It's time for new Weekly Deals! This is nothing compared to the AMAZING Online Extravaganza Sale, so make sure you check that out too! This week, the Rosette Designer Bigz Die is on sale, so I thought I would share some ornament ideas from the Founder's Circle final event when we decorated Christmas trees for the Festival of Trees.

Tips for Rosette Start Ornament:

Cut the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper into 12" x 3" strips and die cut with the Designer Rosette die -- OR -- score every 1/3" using the Simply Scored Tool. Accordion fold.
Adhere the Soft Sky starburst (silver ribbon already attached) to the rosette using hot glue.
Die cut Glimmer Paper with Star Framelits. Score stars all around from peak to valley. Accordion fold.
Make a small roll out of cardstock to act as an anchor for the glimmer star. Hot glue the cardstock roll to the rosette, then hot glue the star to the top of the roll.

Tips for Cone Wreath Ornament:

Start with a 3" x 3-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper. Without creasing the Designer Series Paper, fold it into a triangle to find the starting point. Crease only the starting point.
Roll the Designer Series Paper into a cone shape and adhere them using hot glue.
Try to make 16 cones of equal size. Lay them out on the base circle and adhere them using hot glue.
Adhere the other layers using hot glue.

Tips for Glimmer Paper Ornaments:

Adhere a loop of silver ribbon to the foam ball using hot glue.
Starting at the bottom of the ornament, layer 1" Glimmer Paper circles to the ball using hot glue to adhere them.
